Teaching

Judith teaches improv workshops, and all kinds of performance technique. Get in touch to learn more!

The intention for improv workshops: To discover and experience, trust in oneself and others through non judgmental risk-taking. Participants create life - in the moment - being writer/director/actor/witness within free form structures, scenes, songs, poems, surprising the individual and the collective.
Testimonials
"Judith Greentree is brilliant at improvisation as well as writing and acting. I do not use the word 'brilliant' lightly. Her work is unique and unforgettable. Judith can confront the harshest of realities with astounding humor and a surprisingly profound spirituality."
- E. Katherine Kerr, actor, teacher, writer, director

"Truth is found in the moment. Life, in its full expression, is found in the moment. A lot of people talk about thinking out of the box; Judith knows no box. She lives outside the box and inside the moment. Always. She teaches by example- life and spirit. She uncovers potential and opens up the instrument that is the human heart. She'll water you like a plant and you will feel yourself grow and blossom with every passing hour. I did."
- Joe DeGise II, performer/co-director of Chicago City Limits, New York's longest running improv comedy review

"Judith's warmth, wit, and intuition have done me wonders both personally and as a performer. She is pure inspiration. Judith provides me such an open space to create and express that song long whispering in my heart. Don't let her demure manner fool you, Judith is deviously devoted to the evolution of our capacities and talents, with a depth and heart as celestial as it is earthly, playfully asserting and celebrating life's profundity and absurdity
- Paul Lyons, comedian, actor/author of Carpe Diem, Manana

"Judith brings forth dimensions of yourself you never knew existed, or of. She opens exciting moments of self discovery."
- Walter Starcke, author, teacher

"Having worked with her for many years in this very field, I can tell you that, besides being loving, kind and completely schooled in the mystery of improv, Ms. Greentree is a down-right, laugh out loud, funny person. Go, be and learn."
- Joe Spano, actor, director

"Judith Greentree is a heart-and light-filled genius. She is a tremendous gift to the Arts as a performer and teacher. She may be one of the funniest performers I have ever experienced. Being her student is a gift to yourself."
- Antoinette LaVecchia, actor, playwright, director
